I am repeatedly amused as well as pleased by the enthusiasm of my colleagues every day. Believe me, running a shop isn’t easy, and it humbles me that we can stay so into the stuff we do every day. We still look forward to the latest deliveries of movie collectibles, comics and graphic novels. We’re still thrilled when someone adds us on the Starstore Myspace page or on the Starstore Twitter page, and we’re more than happy to meet people in the store.
Remember, we’re more than just an online presence- The Last Picture Show has been here in the Meadowhall Centre since 1991, and are one of the few stores that have been here for so long. How have we managed it? By sticking to our guns and remaining grounded as fans and people. We’re a bunch of boneheaded nerds, and we love it.Come on in and say hi- just look for the guys in geek shirts talking about games and comics and toys. That’ll be us.
